The American Dream—from its glowing promise to its quiet collapse.
The literature we studied this year revealed that the “Dream” isn’t a guaranteed path to happiness and success, but often a carefully constructed illusion built on pressure and denial. Through my images, I explore how that illusion begins in bright and slowly distorts into loneliness, blur, and silence. Just as in the stories of Gatsby, Janie, and Troy, the light fades, and we’re left to face what remains.
